Our 2017 "Spring Fling" was a wonderful success- and oodles of fun! Held at lovely Magnolia Park in Apopka, Florida

the Fling was attended by 47 people and 45 well-behaved Scottish Terriers. It was a sunny, very hot day- but a good time was

enjoyed by all. Our Scottie lovers included those with companion Scott's, show dogs and champions, Scottish Terrier

Rescue of Florida friends, and agility and obedience fans.

The event included lunch, games and prizes, and wonderful opportunity to admire the many Scots, catch up with old friends...

and make new friends. Adding to the fun was a round of introductions, a brief club update by STCTB President Laurie Slater

and an interesting game of "pin the tail on the Scotty"! Thanks to everyone who helped to plan the event- and to all who participated.

Fall Fun Day 2017 was held on November 5th at a lovely park in Orlando, Florida.  The weather was perfect... and 49 Scottie lovers, 38 Scottish Terriers, and 1 "Scottie wanna be" Duck Tolling Retriever enjoyed a great meal, games, raffles and prize drawings... and much more!  This joint event was sponsored by Scottish Terrier Club of Tampa Bay and Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida.

We enjoyed reconnecting with previous Scottie friends, and making new Scottie friends too!  The 28 people who attended enjoyed talking about Scotties, purchasing items from the Scottie boutique and silent auction, snapping up raffle tickets for a chance to win the Radley luggage, and congratulating our 2016 award winners .  We also said "thank you" to our outgoing STCTB President, Laurie Slater and welcomed aboard incoming STCTB President, Bridget Bower.
