Welcome to Scottish Terrier Club of Tampa Bay
Regional Chapter of the Scottish Terrier Club of American since 1987.
Located in Florida, USA.
Purpose of the STCTB
The STCTB was formed in 1987 to encourage and promote responsible ownership and quality breeding of purebred Scottish Terriers. The STCTB is committed to protect and advance the interests of the breed.
Objectives of the STCTB
To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Scottish Terriers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;
To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials;
To conduct sanctioned, licensed specialty shows and obedience trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club.
To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Scottish Terriers shall be judged;

Members and Friends,
Our hearts and prayers go out to all who suffered loss during hurricanes Helene and Milton. I hope you and your pups are safe and be sure to reach out if you need anything. We are Scottie Strong and we will find resources to help.
Due to the vast number of members affected by the storms, many still without power and unrepaired damage, the decision has been made to cancel the Fall Fun Day scheduled for 19 Oct 2024 at the Dade Battlefield State Park. We will regroup and plan an event at a later time, likely in February.
I will miss seeing you all and look forward to hearing that everyone has restored power and storm cleanup complete. A big thank you to all who already made preparations for the Fall Fun Day and to those who RSVP’d.
We hope to see you at the STCTB Specialty, Dec 12-13 in Orlando. Don't miss out on your chance to place an ad in our specialty catalog. Deadline is November 1.
